In locations where traditional building materials are difficult to transport or construction conditions are limited, container homes offer a practical solution. Containers are easy to move, stack, and assemble, making them ideal for remote or constrained sites

The house is constructed using multiple containers and features a three-story layout. From a distance, the modern container structure appears to rise upward from the preserved base, visually expressing the transition from traditional to contemporary architecture

To maintain the integrity of the original ground-level structure, an open-plan design was implemented. Steel columns were installed on the upper levels to support and lift the container units, ensuring both stability and spatial openness

Inside, the container home expands vertically across two elevated levels, forming a complete residential layout that includes a living room, kitchen, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, agricultural storage, and cleaning areas

A standard 3×6 meter container unit is placed on the ground floor to store equipment that should not be exposed. This unit houses the laundry room, storage room, and a dedicated workspace

Large windows in the ground-floor living room allow sunlight to flood the space, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere. A small balcony provides an outdoor area for relaxation or smoking

The second floor includes two additional rooms and a spacious terrace suitable for outdoor activities. Residents can enjoy views of the surrounding landscape directly from their bedrooms

Sliding glass windows are used throughout the house, offering ease of movement, improved ventilation, and seamless indoor-outdoor interaction—enhancing daily living comfort

This project demonstrates that container homes are not limited to temporary or small-scale housing. With thoughtful design and structural innovation, container housing can evolve into spacious, modern, and highly livable residences
